    I ring this morning to get a taxi for me anf mt son and after 4 phone calls and 4 "10 more minutes" i eventually cancel it after 50 minutes and found my own transport.

    Couldn't be told how long of a wait for the Taxi, Cab never showed up. Very unreliable -Had to wait over an hour and called 3 Taxis before one finally arrived (their excuse was they could not find the Motel)! The Taxi with the licence plate attached tried to charge us $120 on our return trip from West Newcastle 5th November @ 23.45- which cost us $33.40 at 15.30. We jumped in the Taxi and refused to pay the fare upfront and jumped out, called the Taxi company and was told the fare estimate was $49 (not $120)- Choose Uber before booking with this unstworthy Taxi company- SUCH A HASSLE!

    Usless, recieved constant calls and cancellations, could not get a can at all. Uber is the future, cabbies you have brought it on yourselves.

    From the moment we called up, we were immediately referred to an operator which made the ordering process really easy. We got a taxi immediately from the time we called up and a text message was sent to my mobile to let us know that the driver was approaching.

    Unfortunately i had no choice on the way back tho and this time i was told they had a car in the area with a car seat and it would be 10 minutes. Well it is the same situation as this morning, but instead when i ring the automated voice says there is a taxi that has accepted my fare and is 1.7km away, so i wait...and wait.. and wait STILL NOTHING so my son is screaming, it is very hot and instead of finding a cool spot for us to wait i am stuck waiting in the sun because i am just visiting only to be told that taxi made a mistake... USELESS AND UNRELIABLE

    I booked a taxi 3 hours ahead of time to meet me at a train station at 1920. I was told they would be there as close to 1920 as possible and if not there to call. I got off my train. I waited for 15 mins - I know traffic can be bad sometimes and 15 mins is not too bad I guess... I chatted to a bus driver who offered to take me closer to town to find a taxi but said no, I didn't want to be one of those people who calls a taxi then leaves! I called up to see where my taxi was and was told they were still looking for one... 15 minutes AFTER my booked time and they're STILL looking for one! And not even the decency to call/text as a heads up! So now stranded, at a train station, with no alternative transport - bus gone, next train in an hour and NO TAXI!

    Frank was a very competent driver and took the most direct route. My sister and I were on our way to an interview and were unfamiliar with Newcastle so Frank made our journey very easy.
