In complete shock as to how my dogs received their needles. Wasn't greeted by the vet & he didn't even pet my dogs as they were scared & shaking, the vet then roughly assessed them & rudely commented on how I settle my dogs. Wouldn't have happened if he greeted them for reassurance. Usually have Nigel & he is wonderful, always makes sure the dogs are settled before giving them their needles. Absolutely gutted & was spoken to in a very rude manner. Do not plan on going back

Female staff were lovely and facilities were top notch. After an average experience with one of the vets, my visit was kindly followed up by the lovely Harriett who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome on my first visit to MVH.

Today we took our 8week old puppy in to be vaccinated and microchipped. My partner was holding the puppy the entire time, we watched as the microchip was implanted, and watched as the vet administered a worming tablet orally, at no point was the puppy given a needle for vaccination, the vet simply said all done and we walked outside. I then thought it was odd that the puppy hadn’t gotten a needle so walked back in to double check how the vaccination is administered, the person at the counter replied “via a needle” to which I said, “oh, we don’t think she got it”. The person then walked back into the vet and asked him if he administered the needle to which he replied “Yes”. I returned to the car to discus this further with my partner and we both were sure she hadn’t had a needle and thought maybe it was given simultaneously with the microchipping tool. Upon returning home my partner phoned the clinic to ask again how the vaccination is given, and was told the vet needs to mix it up and give it via needle. My partner told the person on the phone that they were holding the puppy the entire time and at no point was she given any needles, to which the person laughed at her and just said “well the vet said he did it but you can come back and get another one if you want”. My partner then asked “as I paid for the vaccination will the cost be free”, again the person laughed and replied “no, you have to pay for it”. I’m not sure if it’s common practice to lie about giving shots and charging for them or if the vet made an error and is too arrogant to admit it, but my dog DID NOT receive any needles during our visit. Incredibly disappointed by our experience and won’t be returning. UPDATE: the owners wife Hairiet has offered a free vaccination in case it was forgotten, thank you very much.
